Resources
One
of Mark’s goals in helping
credit unions is to point them to additional resources.
Below are some the best sources available to further
expand your marketing and leadership knowledge:
- The
Point: an outstanding
e-zine that focuses on a wide range of credit
union issues and trends (marketing, H.R., ALM,
technology, etc.). There is a nominal yearly subscription,
but it is worth every penny. Every credit union
leader should subscribe to this valuable publication.
- ROI
calculations: these
two Excel spreadsheets easily help you calculate
your marketing promotion’s results. These are useful for both pre and
post promotion analysis. This is a link available on Southwest Corporate’s
website.
- Marketingprofs.com: a non-credit union marketing website. There are multiple
subscription options (including a free one). They constantly have fresh and
useful material.
- Filene Research
Institute: a great research arm for the credit union movement.
They have in-depth publications on a wide range of subjects.
- CUNA’s
Marketing & Business Development Council: every
credit union marketer should be a CUNA marketing council member.
Membership offers helpful aides including a listserv and white papers.
- EverythingCU.com: a great credit union online community. You can post questions to fellow
marketers, attend a webinar or conduct other useful tasks.
- markarnold.org
E-zine: okay, so
I’m biased! Hopefully this
is a great tool for you! Get back
